Following from his Rustie rerub on Stuff earlier this year, this sick new album tackles tipsy 8-bit funk, glowing grime melodies and ruddy rave post-techno, all analog style. ‘The Coconut Kestral’ starts up with a dubstep shaped riddim enveloping cheeky computer game melodies with a g-funkin twist, ‘Eva’ comes off like slightly twee IDM, ‘Can’t See Me’ and ‘Say ‘n Do’ feat. Profisee sounds like agitated versions of Harmonic 313 and ‘6 At Le Mans’ completes the game with a flourish of bass steppin’ arcade fun.
