Concert and festival previews and reviews.
That’s it, the last day of festival. I woke up early (as usual, you know the drill) and immediately found some hardcore friends who just came from an after-party in Barcelinhos and who were looking to move directly to the swimming-pool. Hold on, fellas, it’s still closed. Go sleep. But enough of revealing some dirty secrets, I too went quickly lunching to be at time for enjoying a long day of swimming. And great music.
A few more little sleep and we made it to the second day. This time I’ve slept a little better, and also more, cool. Anyway, do you even care about this piece of information? I need to find better ways to make an intro. Nevermind. I woke up soon still, and made it in time for the first show, for a name that I had missed back in Thursday. I think.
Where it all starts. And for me, the day started a little bit rough, I’d slept only a few hours and woke up dripping wet with sweat, because hell, the sun was already strong as if it were mid afternoon, although it nearly was 10:30 pm. But at least I made it in time for the first concert, right?
It’s over, Milhões de Festa 2012 is already past. From now on I’ll spend the days missing all the fun in the last weekend (I’ve already done all the sleeping I didn’t during the festival, so that’s what’s really left). And by “fun” I mean the concerts all the crazy stuff you did so you can brag to your friends at some coffee’s esplanade. This article here won’t have more than a few shows of 19th July, differences to the past editions, novelties, complains, praises, histories, et cetera. Finally seeing Morrissey live tomorrow at the Cascais Music Festival after years of waiting. Productivity levels at work are expected to reach an all-time low by tomorrow morning.
