Coimbra, Portugal’s greatest Americana band a Jigsaw, favorites of Bolachas since their (and ours) early days will be releasing their new full length, “Drunken Sailors & Happy Pirates” next November 1st. “Black Captain” is probably the best song on Bonnie “Prince” Billy’s new record, Wolfroy Goes to Town, and I seriously hope it’s on the setlist for Sunday’s show at Centro Cultural Vila Flor, Guimarães.
Tren Go! Soundsystem is the moniker of Pedro Pestana, an experimental musician from Porto, Portugal. He has just released his debut album, WOOWOOOO, and it sounds exactly like a train journey. A good one for morning commuters.
