I love New Zealand. I&rsquo;ve never actually been there &#8211; I haven&rsquo;t actually been ANYWHERE not in the Iberian Peninsula (I&rsquo;m lying, I&rsquo;ve been to Mallorca once) &#8211; but I&rsquo;ve always been fascinated by Pacific nations such as NZ, Australia, even tiny little Micronesia, one of my favourite countries of all time since, as a kid, I spent hours looking at maps and atlases (not a pun, though I enjoy that band). Grass Cannons e-mailed me a while ago after I wrote about BnP in the hopes I would pay them attention, and I like it when people send me e-mails, it makes me feel all fluffy and warm inside. But I&rsquo;m writing about them not because I feel I should pay them back somehow, but because I find them good enough to be here. They lean on the shoegaze side of things, with a bit of a post-rock tinge, and you can listen to them\/download their EP on Bandcamp.
