MILH\u00d5ES STAGE<\/h2>\n

For many, ELECTRELANE<\/strong><\/a> are the main attraction of this year\u2019s edition of the festival. Coming back for a few select dates in Europe some years after breaking up, the four girls from Brighton will still be presenting their latest album, 2007\u2019s \u201cNo Shouts, No Calls\u201d.<\/p>\n

WASHED OUT<\/a><\/strong>, one of the most relevant buzzbands of the last couple of years has just released his first LP (after a couple of EPs) \u201cWithin and Without\u201d on Sub Pop. He will make his Portuguese debut on the main stage of the last day of the festival.<\/p>\n

\n

RADIO MOSCOW<\/a><\/strong> closes the last day on the festival\u2019s main stage. Blues-tinged rock that instantly claims another beer.<\/p>\n

\n

PAPA TOPO<\/a><\/strong> is the sweetest band on the lineup. Adri\u00e0 and Paulita, the balearic duo known for their highly addictive instant summer hits \u201cOso Panda\u201d and \u201cLo que me gusta del verano es poder tomar helado\u201d, will play for the first time in Portugal and we\u2019ll be there sharing the love. Elefant Records FTW.<\/p>\n

Portuguese acts We Trust<\/a> and Dear Telephone<\/a> will also play the main stage.<\/p>\n

VICE STAGE<\/h2>\n

FOOT VILLAGE<\/a><\/strong>: 4 drumkits, 8 hands, 8 feet, gallons of beer flying everywhere, millions of party. I think the videos below speak for themselves.<\/p>\n

\n

GREEN MACHINE<\/a><\/strong> will play their farewell show on their hometown. All hell will most likely break loose while they play the show of their lives on the Vice stage. Until the end of the show, it\u2019s 2006 all over again. Pure rock and roll!<\/p>\n

\n

The chaotic COMANECHI<\/a><\/strong> will be the last (proper) band playing the fest; will your eardrums be up to the challenge posed by that abrasive guitar and Akiko Matsuura\u2019s sharp screams? Well, if you decide to crawl away, we\u2019ll call Foice Humana to play \u201c\u00c9 s\u00f3 meninos\u201d [goddamn pussies<\/em>] just for you.<\/p>\n

PEGA MONSTRO<\/strong><\/a> is RAD! Two young sisters from Lisbon making lo-fi rock’n’roll using only a guitar and drums. Their song about the Paredes de Coura festival has some of the most memorable lyrics of the recent history of the Portuguese underground scene. AWESOME.<\/p>\n
