Laura Marling and Mike Lindsay\u2019s second album as\u00a0LUMP<\/a>\u00a0is our recommendation of the week. It can be easy to dismiss these songs as scraps from whatever doesn\u2019t find their way into Marling\u2019s \u201cmain\u201d albums. But those ideas, coupled with Lindsay\u2019s marvellous synth work, come to have a life of their own here, and \u201cAnimal\u201d has some of the best tracks we\u2019ve heard from both musicians in a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
