The first <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reverencefestival.com\/\">Reverence Festival<\/a><\/strong> at the small village of Valada, Cartaxo takes place between tonight (a welcome party with <strong>Mars Red Sky<\/strong>, our friends <strong>SOUQ<\/strong> <em>et al.<\/em>) and Saturday, with headlining acts from <strong>Electric Wizard<\/strong> (Friday), the legendary <strong>Hawkwind<\/strong> and <strong>The Black Angels<\/strong> (pictured; Saturday). But the beauty of this festival (apart from the location) also resides in the small names that play at 4pm or 4am: expect to be blown away by Portuguese acts Sunflare, <strong>Black Bombaim<\/strong>, <strong>M\u00e3o Morta<\/strong>, <strong>Azimov<\/strong> and <strong>10000 Russos<\/strong>; chill out and appreciate nature along folky acts as <strong>Wooden Wand<\/strong> or <strong>Woods<\/strong> and dwell into the psychedelic world of <strong>Sleepy Sun<\/strong>, <strong>Cave<\/strong>, <strong>Moon Duo<\/strong> or <strong>Bardo Pond<\/strong>. And don\u2019t forget Genesis P-Orridge\u2019s freak show that\u2019s <strong>Psychic TV<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The schedule (plus a map of the festival grounds)\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.reverencefestival.com\/REVERENCE-SCHEDULE-MAP.pdf\">they provided<\/a> is good enough so we didn\u2019t do our own this time.
