We felt like taking a week off from our playlist-making… so here’s a backlog of great songs we listened to in the last couple of weeks: Bolachas Now Playing 41-42/2015! More than a hour and a half of songs for your listening pleasure, featuring Josh Ritter, Jeffrey Lewis, Jacob Faurholt, Rodney Crowell, Nap Eyes, Promised Land Sound, Eleanor Friedberger, Martin Courtney, Red River Dialect, Dave Rawlings Machine, Actual Wolf, Natalie Prass, Rudimental ft. Bobby Womack, yes I’m typing everything and not just pasting names, Ephemerals, Jamie Woon, John Grant, Freddie Gibbs, Blood Orange, The Album Leaf, and Floating Points. Enjoy it.
Promised Land Sound (pictured above), Anderson East, Gun Outfit, Hey Colossus, Autre Ne Veut, Jamie Woon, Janet Jackson feat. Missy Elliott, New Order, Destroyer, and Dawes. Yes, it’s got plenty of diversity. But we’re sure you’ll love our new weekly playlist.
The long awaited Daniel Romano new record, If I’ve Got Only One Time Askin’ is out now. There are three songs off it on our new weekly playlist and there will probably be more in the weeks to come. Such a fantastic album. There are also new songs by Prince, Lianne La Havas, Ought, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Low, Watkins Family Hour, Richard Hawley, and songs off three Paradise of Bachelors (probably our favorite record label right now) new and future releases: David Morris & Red River Dialect, Promised Land Sound, and Gun Outfit. This is one hell of a collection of songs. Listen to it below.
