#221: Soccer Mommy, “Color Theory”

This is going to be a long one! We were tired of snubbing over half an hour of music almost every week due to the sheer amount of great singles and albums coming out this season. This means you have two hours of new music to listen to until next Wednesday. Our highlight of the week is Soccer Mommy’s “Color Theory”, her sophomore (properly released) record which pretty much sums up what an indie rock album will like in the 2020s. #212: Twain, “Adventure”

Twain has just released their new album, “Adventure”. Physical copies will only be out next year through our beloved Keeled Scales, but you can listen to its nine new tunes right now, just in time for winter. “Rare Feeling” was one of our favourite song-oriented albums of the latter half of the 10s. It is in great company now. Our last new music playlist of 2019 also features tracks by Sam Sanford, Toby Hay, Benjamin Tod, Soccer Mommy, The Secret Sisters, The String Cheese Incident, Luke Lalonde, The Hanging Stars, Roger Harvey, Hollow Ship, Les Big Byrd, Ondness, Action Bronson, Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, Coldplay, El Khat, The Good Ones, Adam Green, Bombay Bicycle club, and Scott & Charlene’s Wedding.
